The belief and marketing strategy focused on how the sonic pest control device modified the behavior of rodents, insects and other pests. The EPA used every single electronic repeller on the market during the testing time in order to establish which models successfully upheld their marketing claim and which did not. Over the two-year study, not one of the products, neither the sonic, ultrasonic nor electromagnetic pest control versions actually modified the mosquito population. Due to these scientific findings, the United States Post Office and the EPA have both taken great strides to hold these manufacturers accountable for their false claims regarding their products.

I would have to say that at least twice a week I see these ads on TV or in magazines here is one on a blog here and here is another. I think more work needs to be done on this front but I doubt that any of these items really work. So save your money. There are better ways of protecting your home and it is not always pesticides, there are plenty of items are there that can work. 1) Glue boards for insects – non toxic, some Eco Friendly products like Cedarcide – cedar which insects hate.
